As part of my “let’s get out and do stuff” initiative I went out and bought a very large map of the world and a box of 100 multicolored pins. I took this map and had it dry mounted and framed.
Obviously the plan is the fill the map with the places that I go. Nothing makes you want to go somewhere like having a big empty map staring at you. 
(This is technically the second map I purchased… the first map I attempted to “do it myself” and adhered it to sheets of cork. In my head it looked great and in theory so easy to do, but the glue didn’t stick and then it did and then there was a wrinkle, (ack!)and a rip, then some cursing and new map was purchased. Tada perfect! )

this is very exciting! I like how it turned out! will you put pins up for places you’ve already visited?
I will indeed add places to where I have been! (but really only one or two pins outside the US.)
